I got into MMA while I was looking for a different way to get a good workout so I went in to an MMA gym in the Summer of 2010 to try it out. After a couple of weeks of trying it out, the competitive side of me took over. I had no intentions of fighting, but I entered my first tournament a month after starting and next thing you know I was addicted and ready to compete any chance I got.
As an amateur I held 2 belts for Spata Combat League in both the 125lb and 135lb divisions and I was 2x Colorado amateur fighter of the year.
In April of 2014 I was promoted to Purple Belt in Jiu Jitsu under Master Sylvio Bering and turned Pro in MMA April 26, 2014.
Six months later, October 2014, I was signed to Invicta Fighting Championships.
As a fighter, I am motivated by both the fear of regret and never being satisfied with my performance. I am always seeking out new ways to push myself and my conditioning more than the previous camp. I want there to be a noticeable improvement from the one fight to the next. I put a lot of pressure on myself and have always been my hardest critic. I fight because I love to challenge myself physically and mentally and nothing is greater than the feeling of trying to impose your will on another fighter.
